I was born and raised in New Jersey and am currently working as a Nutrition Assistant at St Joseph's University Medical Center after completing the Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. Ever since I can remember I have had an interest in health and well-being. I myself struggled with chronic weight fluctuations, acne, anemia and have tried every diet in the book. The most important thing I have learned is to stop dieting and start living a healthy lifestyle. I look forward to my next steps in pursuing my career as a Dietetic Intern and soon to be Registered Dietician. My goal is to be able to help others who are suffering weight gain, chronic dieting, metabolic disorders and other health related conditions.
My interest in cooking has built on my passion for nutrition. I enjoy experimenting with different ingredients to create healthier foods. Being active is key to living a healthy lifestyle, I love hiking, running and participating in intramural volleyball leagues. I enjoy learning and challenging myself, I look forward to becoming a leader in the field of nutrition and dietetics and helping individuals lead healthy lifestyles. |
